Pinterest will soon be rolling out a redesigned look and Social Fresh speculates (correctly, we're sure) part of the reason will be introduce sponsored pins. This just makes sense. Ad Age reports, meanwhile, that YouTube will begin this spring introducing paid subscriptions to some channels as a way of luring yet more eyes away from television.

Is anonymity valued in the social spaces or is it a deterrent to real socialization? Should we be allowed to hide behind the mask of a different personality? Should we be required to own up - in our own voice and personality - to our actions and voices in the social spaces?
