Yes, we know beginning a blog can be confusing, confounding even.

And, yes, we know what we're about to write here may seem oversimplied and, even, trite. But...as a beginning blogger you really can overcome what may seem insurmountable at the moment.

Blogging - or writing - sharing information with others from a central, base point on the Interwebs is at the core of the Relevanza approach to social media. That initial effort to actually post some thought or bit of information to the web is akin to dipping one's toe into the clear, blue  ocean of social media in which you are about to swim. (Did I make is sound inviting enough?)

We will soon publish here a more in-depth look at various blogging platforms but in the meantime, Relevanza co-founder Birgit Pauli-Haack led a class last week at the Naples (Florida) Free-Net for beginners using one of the most popular blogging platforms, WordPress.

Okay, fair enough. But which version of Wordpress does on use? WordPress.org or WordPress.com?

With the help of an infographic prepared by WPbeginner.com, Birgit explains it all at our Social Media Technology blog on Tumblr:
